Protocol guides
Printable rhythms for structuring a microdosing round — when to dose, when to rest, and what to watch for. Pick the cadence that fits your life.
- 1 day on, 2 days off · ~4–8 weeks, then a break
The Fadiman protocol
The classic 'one day on, two days off' rhythm popularised by Dr. James Fadiman. A dosing day is followed by two days without — including a deliberate observation day — run for roughly four to eight weeks, then paused.
- 4 days on, 3 days off · weekly
The Stamets stack
Paul Stamets' four-days-on, three-days-off weekly rhythm. Because the dosing block lands on the same weekdays each week, the schedule is easy to keep and easy to read back in your journal.
- 1 day on, 1 day off · 4–6 weeks
Every-other-day rhythm
A simple alternating pattern — one dosing day, one off day — for people who prefer a steady cadence they don't have to track on a calendar. Tolerance still has time to settle between doses.
- Ease in over 4 weeks · ends with a rest week
Gentle beginner: a four-week plan
A slow, conservative on-ramp for a first round. You start by feeling your baseline, ease into a Fadiman-style rhythm, and finish with a built-in rest week — so the whole experience teaches you something rather than rushing it.
